We all should know what hops taste like, and if you don’t, the best way to find out is to probably grab a couple Double IPAs and then come back to listen to this episode. That said this episode is not just for the hop head. This is a science episode, for those that want to learn about the world of hops, one of the four fundamental ingredients to any beer. We will discuss how hops are grown, the chemical components of a hop flower. and the process a hop goes through to turn your beer into a piney, resinous, citrusy, floral, minty, earthy, and most importantly, bitter beverage. ...
