We are still down a host, but we thought we’d use this opportunity to talk about a special brewery. It’s time we take a trip up the bumpy road to Michigan and talk about Bell’s Brewery. Without Casey here you shouldn’t hear too much audible eye rolling, but we can take some time to look at the impressive path take from bathtub to brewery, and maybe have a Drink
Our next episode will be Saturday, April 21 at 9:00 PM EST covering Sake. That same day we’ll also be doing our first quarterly call with our $5-per-month Patrons.
We’d like to remind everyone that our new news show is up! It has its very own feed and is live every Saturday at 7:30 PM EST. Look for Have A Drink News in your podcatcher of choice.

Two-Hearted Ale tasting:
From 2010 to 2016, the American Homebrewers Association rated Bell's Brewery's Two Hearted Ale the second-best beer in the United States. The AHA publishes an annual list of 50 ranking beers in its magazine, Zymurgy. It was ranked the best beer in the United States in 2017. Two Hearted Ale is an India pale ale named for the Two Hearted River in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. In 2017, Two Hearted Ale was awarded the best beer in the United States, taking the award for the first time after seven straight years at second.
Brewed with 100% Centennial hops from the Pacific Northwest and named after the Two Hearted River in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, this IPA is bursting with hop aromas ranging from pine to grapefruit from massive hop additions in both the kettle and the fermenter. Perfectly balanced with a malt backbone and combined with the signature fruity aromas of Bell's house yeast, this beer is remarkably drinkable and well suited for adventures everywhere.
